Are you unable to log in because your UvAnetID is temporarily blocked? There can be several reasons for this.
If you have tried to log in too many times with an incorrect (old) password or if your password has expired, your UvAnetID account will be temporarily blocked. Try logging in again after 15 minutes.
We are also alert to suspicious login attempts. As soon as the system suspects that something is not right, it will block your account preventively. If your account is blocked, we will inform you via the private email address known to us. This email will contain more information on the steps to be taken.
You can use your UvAnetID for up to 90 days after the end of your employment contract. After this period, your account will be terminated. You will be informed in advance about the closure date of your account via your private email address and your UvA email. Only if you enter into a new employment contract with the UvA or request a UvAnetID guest account you will regain access to a UvAnetID account.
