As a guest, you can use wifi at the UvA via an eduroam visitor account. Do you work or study at another university or college? Then you can use the eduroam wireless network with the login details of your own institution.

How do you connect?

If you have already connected to eduroam at your institution, your device will automatically reconnect to this network. Does this not happen? Then manually select the eduroam network and log in with the login details of your own institution. If you still experience problems, contact the IT support of your own institution.

Don't have an eduroam account?

As a visitor, you can also get a temporary account to connect to eduroam. Your contact at the UvA can arrange this. As soon as a visitor account has been created for you, you will receive a message containing your login details and information about setting up eduroam.

ICT Code of Conduct

UvA wireless users must observe the ICT Code of Conduct. Users who do not obey the ICT Code of Conduct risk being refused access to the UvA-net.
