Audio and video
The lecture rooms at UvA are equipped with modern audiovisual resources and managed by the Teaching Logistics Office (BOL) and Audiovisual Services. The audiovisual facilities vary according to the size of the lecture rooms.
All lecture rooms are equipped in accordance with a UvA wide standard, which means that the operation of the equipment in every room is the same. Lecture room PCs are also equipped with identical software.
Generally speaking, the lecture rooms are equipped as follows:
A lecture hall for more than 80 people will have the following equipment:

A lecture room with a capacity of more than 50 people but less than 80 will be equipped as follows:

A seminar room with a capacity of 20 to 50 people will be equipped as follows:

The computer labs are equipped with desktop PCs installed with UvA practical training software. The room will have one lecturer's PC which is connected to the projector and the audio system. It is also possible to connect a laptop to the projector.
