Adjust references video material Stream Media Service to Kaltura

Earlier we informed you about the new online video platform Kaltura, replacement of the Streaming Media Service (SMD). All video material that was on the SMD has been migrated to Kaltura. It is important that you adjust all references (links) to material on the SMD to the video material on Kaltura.

Please do this before 3 May 2021

You have until May 3, 2021 to adjust these links, after that the SMD server will go offline and all links to video material on the SMD will no longer work.

How do I adjust a reference?

Because the video has been moved, this affects the link. The name of the video has remained identical, therefore you only need to change the part that comes before it in the link.

This adjustment looks like this:
Old link: https://streamingmedia.uva.nl/asset/detail/<name of the video>
New link: https://video.uva.nl/media/<name of video>
