Incidents

Reception desk staff ensure safety in the buildings by refusing entry to unauthorised persons (and having them removed), and by registering and reporting any incidents, alarms or irregularities with regard to safety and security.

Support for CER organisation

The staff at the reception desks will support the company emergency response (CER) organisation in emergencies. This includes alerting the CER team and calling in emergency services, managing and in emergencies distributing emergency response equipment such as CER kits, megaphones, vests, walkie-talkies, etc. Reception staff can also take notes for the CER team leader to log events.

Access to rooms and parking areas

Employees who are expecting visitors can notify the reception staff to arrange visitor access to secure floors, rooms and/or parking areas. Access passes and keys may be borrowed and registered at the reception desk as well.

Authorised employees may submit a request for an additional reception desk to the FS Service Desk. Payment will be made by internal settlement using the specified cost centre number. In that case, you should direct your request to Events coordination (facility support)
