The UvA organises two major career events in which organisations and companies can participate. A UvA career event is an excellent opportunity to present your company, and to meet students and graduates.

UvA Career Skills Week

Every year in March, the UvA organises a week where both Dutch and international students can come into contact with companies. Aim of the UvA Career Skills Week is to challenge students and make them think about their career choices. Offering them insight into opportunities in the field, acquiring relevant skills, and introducing them to relevant alumni and companies.

We are looking for companies that want to teach a workshop on work-related skills, or a workshop on specific professional fields. If you are interested in participating, you can sign up for our mailing list below.

Participants are both Bachelor's and Master's students who are looking for part-time jobs, internships, or entry-level jobs.

International Talent Event Amsterdam (ITEA)

The UvA Student Careers Centre organizes the annual International Talent Event Amsterdam (ITEA) in April or May. During ITEA you’ll meet international students and recent graduates, both Bachelor's and Master's students, from a wide range of disciplines, including IT, business, finance, science, and marketing. Participants are looking for both internships and entry-level jobs.

The UvA is one of the collaboration partners, together with VU Amsterdam, the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, Inholland University of Applied Sciences, and amsterdam inbusiness.
